Wine lovers and operators at 67Pall Mall for a walk-around tasting
Yesterday Thursday 21 September Franciacorta returned to London for a Walk-Around Tasting, attracting wine lovers and sector operators in the British capital.
The event took place at 67 Pall Mall, a famous private wine lovers club, and was divided up into two appointments: by day for sector operators and the press, by night an open evening for the club’s members. The tasting stands were the ideal opportunity for Londoners to get to know Franciacorta wines better.
32 winemakers took part in the Walk-Around Tasting and presented the various types of Franciacorta to more than 150 guests looking to find out more about these varieties.
The London event was the twentieth international stage on Franciacorta’s 2023 journey and a further five are planned before the end of the year. Franciacorta has thus further consolidated its international presence.
“We are proud to be back in London”, said Silvano Brescianini, President of the Franciacorta Consortium. “Franciacorta exports to the United Kingdom are still limited but the country’s wine culture is significant and its market potential considerable. This event constituted further opportunities to meet buyers and sommeliers from a range of restaurants and hotels.”
