Coldiretti Brescia is the provincial branch of the Coldiretti National Confederation, with headquarters in Brescia and 13 branch offices. The organisation’s priorities are trade union, training and information activities in the area.

Brescia’s livestock sector boasts excellence in the beef cattle, poultry and pig sectors, with more than a million pigs raised a year, which contribute to the production of Prosciutto di Parma and Prosciutto di San Daniele.
In addition, with a weight of 11 million quintals per year, Brescian milk is used in the production of many cheeses, including Grana Padano DOP, Provolone Valpadana DOP and Formaggella della Val Camonica.
The wine sector includes important DOC, DOCG and IGT wines, such as Franciacorta, Lugana, Botticino, Cellatica, Capriano del Colle, Curtefranca, Garda classico and Valcamonica.
