Conceived in 2011, “Intralci 1961-2011” was created for the 50th anniversary of the first bottle of Franciacorta.
The project was curated by Jacopo Perfetti of Art Kitchen at the Mudima Foundation in Milan where an installation consisting of the artwork of ten artists from different artistic trends and countries (Italy, France, Poland, Serbia, Spain and Bolivia) was exhibited. United by a natural and instinctive propensity for dialectics with lands and people, the artists found in Franciacorta’s expanses of rows of vines the inspiration to create an en plein air experience, which placed art in a public and participated context. During the 2011 grape harvest, they were invited to spend a few days in Franciacorta in order to experience the places firsthand, speak with the people, learn about their history and enjoy the characteristic flavours.
A veritable Creativity Workshop was generated inside Palazzo Lana at Borgonato, where each artist translated their own emotions into art, interpreting the territory with the utmost freedom through varying contents and expressions: from street-art, video installations, and photography, to street poetry, painting, and on to the most original artistic alchemies.
