The municipality of Iseo lies on the south-eastern shore of the lake of the same name. The conformation of the land is typical of the Torbiere del Sebino Nature Reserve, straddling the lake and the hills.
The historic centre of Iseo, despite some changes between the 15th and 18th centuries, has retained much of its medieval urban structure.
