Follow signs for Orto botanico delle conifere coltivate with its red and white waymarks. After the last houses bear right along Gandovere stream to a little bridge with an info board for Torre di Ertina, a medieval era tower. The tower is part of a farmhouse and can be visited on a detour lasting a few minutes.
Continue along the stream to the next info board for Mulino d’Ertina, a medieval mill which you can get to on a short detour to the left on a gravel road. Return to the main route and continue to the entrance to the Orto botanico delle conifere coltivate botanical gardens with info boards on the plant species found there. The Paradiso picnic area is just after it and there is Virgin Mary and a small votive shrine here. This is the end of the excursion. Retrace your steps.
