The Museo Civico Didattico is a museum of cultural preservation that brings together different aspects of the town of Cologne (Brescia). It was originally conceived as a collection of materials, artefacts, objects and documents relating to the rural, industrial, social and educational history of the municipality and its inhabitants. It was created in 2017 after refurbishment of the previous civic museum, to which the collection from the historical educational archive was added.
Three sections, introduced by explanatory panels, comprise the layout of the museum. The first room contains tools, machinery and artefacts typical of the crafts and industrial activities of the Cologne area. A second room is dedicated to rural life on the local farmsteads. A classroom has been fitted out as the third section to visit, with numerous school-related objects.
