The municipality of Adro, six kilometres from Lake Iseo, lies in the south-western part of the province of Brescia. The history of the first settlements in this area has ancient origins, as evidenced by Neolithic finds in the hamlet of Torbiato and funerary art from the Roman and Longobard periods.
The village is a traditional wine-growing area, favoured by its location within Franciacorta.
In the Giacomo Puccini cultural space, the philharmonic ensemble organises a rich calendar of events and concerts.
