The municipality of Monticelli Brusati is situated on the foothills of the Brescian Pre-Alps and is part of both the Consorzio Franciacorta (Franciacorta Consortium) and the Comunità Montana del Sebino Bresciano (Mountain Community of Brescian Sebino).
The land, which is particularly calcareous and rich in springs and streams, makes the soil very suitable for viticulture.
