Franciacorta Satèn

Chardonnay (primary) and Pinot Blanc up to a maximum of 50%.

A rounded flavour resulting from carefully selected base wines and lower bottle pressure, maximum 5 atmospheres. The minimum ageing period on the lees is 24 months.

Ultra-fine, long-lasting perlage, verging on the creamy. Straw yellow, sometimes intense, with greenish highlights, delicate but pronounced ripe fruit aromas accompanied by delicate white flower and dried fruit and nut aromas such as almonds and hazelnuts, sometimes toasted. Pleasantly tangy and zesty, its innate roundness makes for well balanced silky sensations.

Brut.

Appearance

Intense straw yellow. A fine and long-lasting perlage.

Bouquet

Delicate but pronounced ripe white and yellow fruit aromas accompanied by delicate white flower and dried fruit and nut aromas such as almond and hazelnut, sometimes toasted.

Taste

Pleasantly tangy and zesty, its innate roundness and creaminess makes for well-balanced silky sensations. In the mouth it is once again floral and yellow fruit which prevails, with pleasant notes of vanilla and butter (if aged in wood).
