Franciacorta Festival Returns to Zurich on 7 September
On 7 September 2026, the Franciacorta Festival will return to Zurich with an event organized in collaboration with Falstaff, dedicated to showcasing the many expressions of Franciacorta.
Set in the prestigious Kongresshaus Zürich, more than 36 wineries will present their wines, offering trade professionals and, from 5:00 p.m. onwards, wine enthusiasts and consumers the opportunity to discover the richness and identity of the Franciacorta appellation through a representative selection of labels.
The Festival will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with the following programme:
- From 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. | Masterclass
Hosted by Simon Staffler, Director of Falstaff Italia, this exclusive tasting will focus on Franciacorta Satèn, the denomination’s most elegant and distinctive style. Participants will have the opportunity to explore different interpretations of Satèn through a curated selection of wines from various wineries while gaining insight into each producer’s winemaking philosophy. Places are limited.
- From 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. | Walkaround Tasting
A walkaround tasting featuring the different styles of Franciacorta DOCG. Access is reserved for trade professionals from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., while from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. the event will also be open to consumers and wine lovers. Guests will have the opportunity to taste a wide selection of Franciacorta wines, meet the producers, and learn more about the wineries that represent the denomination.
