In Hollywood, awards season is about far more than a single night. While the Emmy® Awards are the most anticipated event of the year for the American television industry, the journey leading up to the ceremony is filled with weeks of exclusive events, receptions, celebrations, and networking opportunities that bring together actors, directors, producers, and some of television’s biggest names. Once again in 2026, Franciacorta will be part of this prestigious calendar.
Following a partnership that began in 2020, Italy’s premier sparkling wine denomination is opening a new chapter in its collaboration with the Emmy® Awards. Franciacorta will not only be featured during the awards ceremony on September 14, but throughout the entire Emmy Season, taking part in every major event that shapes the television industry’s most celebrated time of year.
The season officially began on July 8 with the announcement of the nominees for the 78th Emmy® Awards. The calendar continues on August 13 with the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & Reception at the JW Marriott LA Live in Los Angeles, honoring the television legends whose contributions have shaped the industry, followed by an exclusive reception. On September 5 and 6, the Creative Arts Emmy® Awards will celebrate excellence in the technical, artistic, and creative categories, accompanied by the traditional Governors Galas honoring the winners. During the week leading up to the main ceremony, Franciacorta will also be present at the Emmys Press Preview Event, one of the key gatherings for international media.
The season culminates on September 14 at the Peacock Theater at LA Live with the live broadcast of the 78th Emmy® Awards. Once the statuettes have been presented, the celebrations will continue at the Governors Gala held at the Los Angeles Convention Center—the official post-ceremony reception for winners, nominees, presenters, and invited guests, widely regarded as one of the most exclusive events of the entire Emmy Season.
The real novelty for 2026, however, is that Franciacorta will be much more than the wine poured for celebratory toasts. The partnership has evolved into a broader expression of the Italian lifestyle—one defined by culture, gastronomy, conviviality, and an uncompromising commitment to quality. It is an opportunity to bring to Hollywood not only a glass of Franciacorta, but also an authentic vision of Italy that speaks of outstanding terroirs, craftsmanship, and excellence.
This expanded presence reflects the evolution of the Franciacorta denomination itself, increasingly taking center stage at major international events where wine meets the worlds of art, entertainment, and culture. Today, representing Made in Italy means telling a story that goes far beyond the product itself—it means sharing a way of life that continues to inspire audiences around the world.
“2026 marks our sixth consecutive year alongside the Emmy Awards, and seeing this partnership grow season after season is a source of great pride,” comments Emanuele Rabotti, President of the Franciacorta Consortium. “I continue to be impressed by the extraordinary organization behind an event of this magnitude. Over the years, we have had the pleasure of raising a glass with many of the biggest stars of international television, but what truly makes this partnership special is its long-term value. Beyond its significant commercial impact, it also strengthens the reputation of Franciacorta and, more broadly, showcases Italian excellence on the global stage.”
Being part of the entire Emmy Season also means engaging with an audience that extends far beyond the viewers of the awards ceremony itself. Television professionals, international media, and entertainment enthusiasts will follow every milestone of a calendar that, from July through September, transforms Hollywood into the world capital of television. Within this setting, Franciacorta reaffirms its role as an ambassador of Italian excellence by choosing to be present throughout the entire journey—not only on the final red carpet.
