Marzaghe Franciacorta makes quality and low volumes of its production a primary prerogative. Founded in 2005, the winery produces between 30,000 and 50,000 bottles per year. The estate’s 10 hectares of vineyards are located in the heart of Franciacorta, between Monte Alto and Monte Orfano, and enjoy an ideal geographical location and microclimate for the wine they produce.
The vineyards are personally managed and cared for to obtain high quality grapes and wines with distinctive characteristics.
Legend has it that the ancient Lombards, great farmers and merchants of sheep flocks, buried a golden lamb in this very land, which was then searched for but was guarded by the roots of the vines as a gold reserve for the grapes used by Marzaghe to produce its Franciacorta wines.
