The story of Abrami Elisabetta’s winery began in Provaglio d’Iseo, a small, industrious town in Franciacorta, situated at the foot of Mount Cognolo and cooled by Lake Iseo. Here, between the “Redigoli” and “Dossi” vineyards, Elisabetta has realised a dream: to make her own wine from Pinot Noir grapes. With a background in manufacturing, Elisabetta brings with her a deep drive for excellence, which can only be achieved through complete control of the production chain, from vineyard to cellar.
The winery realised it needed to make a meticulous and careful selection of the places where the vines grow. Each soil type has its own vineyard, because it is in the vineyard that the best wine is made. Skilful clonal selection, density of vines per hectare, manual harvesting of the grapes at the right stage of ripeness, low production per vine and great attention to respect for the environment: this is the credo of Abrami Elisabetta. Organic farming is a natural step that goes hand in hand with the awareness of doing good for one’s own land.
