Old Clusane is illustrated in the form of an itinerary consisting of 9 panels placed in particular places in the old town centre, to allow the visitor to picture the place as it was sixty years ago and follow its evolution.
On the panels, the black and white images are enhanced by a background that evokes the movement of waves and are accompanied by other valuable information, which encourages the observer to continue their visit in discovery of Clusane as it once was.
The installations were created to honour the maestro Carlo Lanza, founder of Cooperativa Pescatori, who left his fellow villagers an important photographic archive of a life spent portraying the environments, expressions and faces of his native village.
