Franciacorta at Vinitaly 2025: Celebrating Excellence and 35 Years of Success
The Consorzio Franciacorta is thrilled to announce its participation in the 59th edition of Vinitaly, the most important international wine exhibition, taking place in Verona from April 6 to 9, 2025. This prestigious event offers a unique opportunity to showcase the excellence of Franciacorta wineries, a true symbol of quality, passion, and innovation.
Franciacorta’s presence at Vinitaly will be stronger than ever, with 28 wineries at Palaexpo, 15 wineries in other pavilions, and 46 wineries at the shared tasting area, reflecting the growing success and global recognition of Franciacorta in the wine industry.
The Consorzio, together with its wineries, will welcome visitors to a dedicated stand, where they will have the chance to explore the latest innovations and finest products. This exhibition space will serve as a meeting point for wine enthusiasts eager to discover the stories and traditions that make Franciacorta a truly unique and inimitable region.
This year’s participation holds even greater significance as the Consorzio Franciacorta celebrates its 35th anniversary. Founded in 1990, the organization has played a pivotal role in the growth and recognition of Franciacorta as one of the world’s leading wine appellations. To mark this milestone, the Consorzio hosted a series of exclusive events in early March, including expert-led discussions reflecting on Franciacorta’s past and its future.
“Wine fairs remain the best opportunity to connect with agents, importers, journalists, and professionals in the horeca sector. Vinitaly, in particular, is the most important exhibition in Italy, providing a crucial platform to showcase the work of our wineries. However, we recognize that the industry is facing challenges, including market shifts and political uncertainties such as potential new tariffs that could impact exports. It is essential to stay united and ready to tackle these difficulties to safeguard the future of our exceptional wines,” stated Silvano Brescianini, President of the Consorzio Franciacorta.
Franciacorta’s presence at Vinitaly will be a remarkable occasion to toast to a history of achievements and a promising future, where quality and authenticity remain at the heart of Franciacorta’s winemaking excellence.
