Franciacorta races this year with Guest Ben Dahlhaus
This year’s edition of the 1000 Miglia Warm Up concluded with great success. The event, held from May 30 to June 2 in Switzerland, has seen Franciacorta as a partner for two years.
The partnership highlights Franciacorta’s commitment to supporting events that embody excellence and passion, further strengthening the bond between the world of wine and vintage car racing, celebrating tradition, elegance, and a passion for excellence. Switzerland remains the top market for Franciacorta exports, with the average price steadily increasing.
The 2024 edition saw the participation of numerous enthusiasts and competitors from around the world, confirming once again the importance and prestige of the event in the international automotive landscape. The 1000 Miglia Warm Up Switzerland is the final event before the main race, which will start from Brescia on June 11. It involved twenty-five cars, giving participants the opportunity to learn or refine timekeeping techniques and deepen navigation skills under the guidance of the best 1000 Miglia professionals. Starting from Ascona, on the shores of Lake Maggiore, the route crossed the picturesque central region of Switzerland, concluding in upper Ticino.
Among the special guests of this edition, Franciacorta and Scuderia Classiche welcomed Ben Dahlhaus, a world-renowned German actor who drove a Fiat 1100 TV Spider. Having already participated in the Mille Miglia three years ago, Ben brought with him a certain level of experience. Despite occasionally adverse weather conditions, he was absolutely thrilled with the race from day one. His presence added a touch of glamour to the event, attracting media and public attention. Ben Dahlhaus actively participated in various activities, sharing the race’s highlights on social media.
