Located in Monticelli Brusati, on the northeastern edge of the Franciacorta region and just a few minutes from Lake Iseo, Montina was founded in 1982 by the Bozza brothers – Vittorio, Gian Carlo, and Alberto – following their family’s winemaking vocation. The estate is rooted in a 17th-century residence built in 1620 by Benedetto Montini, ancestor of Pope Paul VI.
Today, Montina stretches across more than 8,000 m² of underground cellars carved into the hillside and produces around 450,000 bottles per year from 70 hectares of vineyards.
In addition to its winemaking activity, Montina offers a wine shop for direct sales, tasting spaces, and guided tours. The estate also includes Villa Baiana, a venue ideal for events, weddings, and corporate meetings, and is home to the first permanent Contemporary Art Gallery in Franciacorta, featuring over 280 works on display.
