The Cenci Vineyards, extending over 6 hectares, are located in Cologne in Franciacorta and lie at the foot of Monte Orfano, a limestone hill that faces southwards. The hill has a unique soil that produces full-flavoured and lingering wines and, thanks to a special microclimate, is the ideal habitat for Pinot Blanc vines.
The La Boscaiola -Vigneti Cenci wine estate was the brainchild of Nelson Cenci and was established in 1979. Its vineyards have always been distinguished by considerable focus on product quality. State-of-the-art winemaking techniques and more than a decade of experience have enabled the winery to produce wines with very low levels of sulphites, thereby infusing the wines with the scents, aromas and fragrances typical of this land.
The philosophy of the company is to obtain a pure and elegant Franciacorta wine, with low dosage so as not to harm the wine. A Franciacorta wine that tells the story of the family and the land where it was created. Pure, elegant and refined: this is the character of Franciacorta wine from the Vigneti Cenci winery.
