Castel Faglia was founded in 1989 and is situated in Calino, a hamlet of Cazzago San Martino. Castel Faglia has always been distinguished by its philosophy of creating Franciacorta wines that are a full expression of the land while guaranteeing the quality of the grapes and winemaking traditions. The Castel Faglia vineyards, which cover about 17 hectares, consist solely of Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir grapes, according to Franciacorta regulations.
Castel Faglia’s philosophy is based on the continuous search for harmony between intensity and freshness, personality and pleasantness. This is why meticulous attention to every detail is essential and this includes the cultivation of the vines, the harvest, the selection of the best grapes and pressing, as well as the blending of the Cuvées. Only then, after many taste tests and having the patience to wait for time to complete its work, are the Franciacorta wines of Castel Faglia born; wines whose Monogram brand seals the bottles that are dedicated to the most exacting Franciacorta enthusiasts.
