The Barbalonga winery was founded in 2008 thanks to the passion of the engineer Angelo Martinazzi, who planted the first Chardonnay vine on the land belonging to his house on the slopes of Monte Orfano.
Since the first harvest in 2011, the engineer, also known as Barbalonga, has gradually expanded his business to its current 12 hectares of vineyards.
Initially, not having his own wine cellar, Martinazzi rented equipment and space in an establishment in the heart of Erbusco, and then gradually acquired new plots of land.
