Franciacorta Festival in Chicago: May 7 Walk-Around Tasting for Wine&Food Professionals
On May 7, 2025, Franciacorta will be in the spotlight in Chicago with an exclusive event dedicated to wine industry professionals. The Franciacorta Festival, taking place from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at The Wellesley, will showcase Franciacorta’s finest traditional method sparkling wines through a curated walk-around tasting.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the producers and explore a wide array of styles that express the richness and diversity of the Franciacorta region. The event is designed for importers, distributors, sommeliers, buyers, and wine, food & hospitality professionals interested in deepening their knowledge of this renowned denomination.
Franciacorta—recently named International Wine Region of the Year by Wine Enthusiast and an official partner of the Michelin Guide in both Italy and the U.S.—is a terroir-driven region in Lombardy, near Lake Iseo, known for crafting refined sparkling wines with a strong focus on sustainability: over 55% of its vineyards are certified organic.
