Franciacorta returns to Vinitaly: the territory tells its story in Verona

7 April 2026

From April 12 to 15, the Consortium and wineries of the denomination will be present at Italy’s leading wine fair with a dedicated space at the Palaexpo and a widespread presence across the exhibition halls.

There is a moment each year when the wine world gathers at Vinitaly. From April 12 to 15, the Verona fair will once again become the main meeting point for producers, buyers, and industry professionals, confirming its role as a benchmark event for the Italian and international wine sector.

In this context, Franciacorta could not be absent. For 2026, it once again confirms its participation with a significant presence of wineries and a dedicated space designed as a place for meetings, tastings, and dialogue with the professional audience.

The heart of the denomination’s presence will be the Franciacorta area within the Palaexpo, in the Lombardy Region pavilion. Here, 22 wineries will be present, gathered in a space offering visitors the opportunity to explore the diverse expressions of the denomination, told directly by those who work daily in the vineyard and the cellar.

Alongside the companies in the collective area, another 14 Franciacorta wineries will participate in Vinitaly across various exhibition halls, further strengthening the denomination’s presence throughout the fair.

For the Franciacorta Consortium, participation in the Verona fair—now in its 56th edition—remains an important milestone in the denomination’s annual calendar. It is a moment not only to present the wines of its member wineries but also to strengthen market relationships and engage with the changes affecting the sector.

“Vinitaly represents a central moment for storytelling and exchange for us,” explains Emanuele Rabotti, President of the Franciacorta Consortium. “We bring to Verona a broad selection of wines from our wineries, from the most recent vintages to the Riservas, along with the new 2025 vintage, which we consider particularly significant. In a complex market phase, it is essential to continue meeting operators and enthusiasts to share the value, quality, and identity of our denomination.”

Participation in Vinitaly also comes at a time that confirms the strength of the denomination. The latest data from the Consortium’s Economic Observatory highlight stable volumes and average prices, alongside strengthened exports in key international markets.

“Wine fairs continue to be important opportunities for meeting and dialogue with the market,” Rabotti adds. “Vinitaly, in particular, remains an essential event to present the work of our wineries and to engage with operators, journalists, and buyers from many countries. In an international scenario that requires attention and adaptability, moments like this help the sector maintain an open outlook toward the future.”

Through tastings, meetings, and professional exchanges, the Franciacorta space thus presents itself as a window onto the territory: a journey through wines, stories, and people who every day help define the character of the denomination within the Italian wine landscape.
