In 1977, Vittorio Moretti founded Bellavista, making it one of the most prestigious wineries in Franciacorta.
The name comes from the hill on which the estate stands, surrounded by the beauty of a landscape overlooking the lake, the plains, and the nearby Alps, nestled within the charm of a morainic hillside amphitheater. Bellavista is synonymous with elegance and refinement, with a passion for a land that creates wonders: Franciacorta.
Bellavista’s philosophy is rooted in meticulous precision, simplicity, and a close bond between people and the land. Every detail is carefully attended to, and every gesture — even the smallest — is considered essential. Today, Francesca Moretti, the family’s winemaker, supported by Richard Geoffroy, leads the team of vineyard and cellar technicians.
