The desire to create something exceptional inspired brothers Oliviero and Giuseppe Moraschi to make wine from grapes grown in their own vineyards, establishing, in the first half of the 1990s, a small family business now run by Matteo Moraschi. Tenuta Moraschi covers 6 hectares of land and produces 30,000 bottles per year.
Tenuta Moraschi protects and nurtures its vines using only and exclusively substances of natural origin. Growing organic grapes means manual work and continuous presence in the vineyard, both to observe the natural cycles of the vine and to monitor any problems. It is also the winery’s philosophy that all Franciacorta wines should be aged on the lees for a minimum of 30 months.
Tenuta Moraschi also has a large tasting room and organises fun picnics in the vineyard and various historical, technical and emotional tasting sessions, preceded by a guided tour directly with the producer of the estate vineyards and winery.
