Franciacorta, Official Sparkling Wine of the Emmy Awards, has decided to work with Hart Denton, the talented American actor known for his role in the successful TV series Riverdale, with two films coming out. Following his recent visit to Franciacorta, where the beauties of the area, the quality of the wine and the warmth of the welcome given him won him over, Hart Denton was chosen as special Franciacorta guest during the during the upcoming Emmy Awards, the most prestigious event of the year for American television. In addition to being a talented actor Hart is also an exceptional musician and a show business style icon. Among his dreams is to direct a film as a director, and after spending part of his summer vacation in Franciacorta, he considers it the perfect place due to the diverse settings offered by the region. This partnership is thus an ideal opportunity for Franciacorta to celebrate excellence in multiple spheres.
The 75th edition of the Emmy Awards has been postponed to Monday, January 15th, due to Hollywood strikes. As always, it will take place in Los Angeles and be aired live on FOX and the main international broadcasting channels (in Italy it will be visible on Sky). The winners will celebrate the handing over of the prestigious statuette with Franciacorta at the event’s media centre in the presence of national and international journalists and photographers, and once again at the Franciacorta Bar at the Governors Gala, the glamorous after-party celebrating the Emmy winners and an exclusive line up of global television celebrities and personalities. The Franciacorta Bar will also be present at the main events running up to the Emmy Awards, including the Creative Emmy Awards for those working behind the scenes – set designers, costume designers, picture and sound editors, animators, special effects, etc. – and the Performer Nominees Celebration event for all the actors, producers, writers and directors nominated.
Despite the postponement of the Emmy Awards from September 2023 to January 2024, Franciacorta is already collaborating with the Television Academy through a series of events planned for September and October, including the Board of Governors Meeting, Peer Group Mixers, and the Emmys Golf Classic. These occasions will provide Franciacorta with the opportunity to represent Italian excellence and style in Los Angeles.
This year, Franciacorta has signed a new three-year partnership with the Television Academy as the Official Sparkling Wine of the Emmy® Awards. A partnership which began in 2020 has been expanded with this important new agreement in which Franciacorta will be sole Italian wine partner in Los Angeles on the occasion of the awards and all the main events leading up to it.
