The Caruna winery was founded in 2000 with the purchase of a dilapidated 19th century farmhouse and 13 hectares of land on the southern slopes of Monte Orfano. The production of the Caruna winery is 30,000 bottles per year, all produced according to organic and integrated viticulture principles.
Cantina Caruna is a slow but steady project, like the processes of the land to which the Caruna family has been linked for generations. The renovation of the farmhouse and its transformation into a modern winery have given new life to a building rich in rural history, a place in which to develop new narratives and traditions inspired by the hospitality. Cantina Caruna follows the philosophy of Naturally Chic in the aesthetics and production of its wines, enhancing and respecting the natural beauty and goodness of the land and the resulting wine.
