Santus Franciacorta was founded back in the 1990s, fulfilling the dream of Maria Luisa Santus and Gianfranco Pagano, who still run the winery together today.
The winery works almost 10 hectares of land, producing about 50,000 bottles of Franciacorta. At the heart of its philosophy is the conviction that the task of small wine growers is to be at the forefront for defending biodiversity and all the nuances that nature offers. To strengthen the inseparable bond between life-climate-man, Gianfranco and Maria Luisa do not produce cuvées, but bottle the product of individual vintages. The types produced by the winery are: Brut, Dosaggio Zero, Satèn, Rosé and the very special Essenza, made only in certain vintages.
The modern winery is a new construction, built according to eco-sustainability criteria in order to have the least possible impact on the environment.
