Now in its third generation, the Muratori family has been devoted to the exclusive production of Franciacorta since 1999, making wine from its own grapes grown in 54 hectares of vineyards, which are located in each of Franciacorta’s six Vocational Units and all cultivated according to the standards of organic farming.
The winery extends to almost 20 metres deep underground, which enables gravity to be used to move the musts during the grape harvest and ensures a constant microclimate at different times of the year. The agri-photovoltaic system, suspended above one of the vineyards adjacent to the winery (one of the first made in Italy), also guarantees energy self-sufficiency.
The visit of the winery includes a tour of all the winemaking process’ spaces. Starting from grapes pressing area and arriving to degorging room. The tour will allow you to discover step by step the productive process of Muratori Franciacorta bottles. The visit lasts around 40 minutes and it is followed by a guided tasting of two wines: Franciacorta Brut Muratori and Franciacorta Brut Millé Millesimato.
